Terms of Service for The Genospectra Lens
Effective Date: December 24, 2024
Welcome to The Genospectra Lens.
By accessing, subscribing to, or engaging with content from The Genospectra Lens, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to protect the integrity of this platform and the rights of its users.
I. Purpose
The Genospectra Lens is a publication dedicated to exploring the Genospectra Framework, genocide studies, and justice advocacy. This platform promotes accessible education and critical analysis while fostering a community committed to dismantling oppression.
II. Subscriptions and Accessibility
Free Content: All public posts are accessible to free subscribers.
Paid Subscriptions: Paid subscriptions provide access to exclusive content, early access to materials, and other benefits outlined on our subscription page.
Sponsored Access: Accessibility is a core principle. If cost is a barrier, users may request sponsored access by emailing Genospectra@gmail.com
III. Non-State Application
Exclusion of Governmental Entities: A key principle of the Genospectra Framework is its explicit exclusion of state or governmental entities from using its components. This principle is grounded in the recognition that governments and state actors have often been complicit in or directly responsible for genocidal actions. To prevent misuse for political manipulation, suppression, or the justification of state actions, Genospectra is designed to be used exclusively by civil society organizations, academic institutions, and grassroots movements. This exclusion is essential for maintaining the integrity of the framework and ensuring that it serves as a tool for justice and prevention, rather than oppression.
Civil Society-Centric: The focus on civil society is central to the Genospectra Framework. By empowering non-governmental organizations, grassroots movements, and academic institutions, Genospectra aims to support those at the forefront of efforts to prevent genocide, advocate for human rights, and promote justice. These groups play a critical role in documenting genocidal actions, raising awareness, and mobilizing international support for intervention. The framework is designed to enhance their work by providing a powerful analytical tool to understand, challenge, and dismantle genocidal structures.
IV. User Conduct
To ensure a respectful and constructive environment, all users of The Genospectra Lens must adhere to the following guidelines:
Respectful Engagement: All interactions, including comments and discussions, must be conducted with respect for others. Personal attacks, harassment, or discriminatory language of any kind will not be tolerated.
